Pelham City Schools is relieving head football coach Brett Burnett of his football duties. The Panthers were 3-7 overall this season. The 10-year coach led Pelham to a 53-55 regular season record. Burnett had a 2-6 record in the playoffs and has not won a playoff game until 2006 where he was 2-1 in that season. Burnett had four winning seasons at Pelham. His best record was 10-3 in 2006.
