The Skinny: Spanish Fort quarterback Javon Brown had 197 of total yards and 4 TD's in his first complete against Baldwin County last week. Brown is filling in for injured QB Tyler Johnston who was on track to finish as "Player of the Year" in Class 6A. Running back Tyler Shabel might get a few more carries with Johnston out of the lineup. WR Darrell Pettway can help the Toros make some big plays. LB J.D. Campbell helped shut down Baldwin County last week. The Toros currently have a 30-game winning streak. Blount comes into this game with a four game winning streak. There only loss was an OT game to Daphne earlier in the season. Sophomore QB Kadarius Toney is gaining more confidence week by week. Last week against Robertsdale (35-24), the QB accounted for three touchdowns in the win. Senior Demetrice Vaughan should get the bulk of the carries Friday night. Sophomore Josh Brown brings some depth to the running back position. Last week, defensive back Tranealius Abrams led the Leopards with 11 tackles and a pick.
