The Hoover Bucs finished the day 4-0 in pool play in the National Select 7-on-7 tournament in Lassiter, Georgia today. Hoover won easily in three of the four games but held off a pesky Cherokee, Ga. 38-32 to finish the day undefeated. Senior quarterback Jack Hutcheson had a super day throwing the football and looks to build off his good passing day on Friday.

In the Palmetto State Showdown 7-on7 tournament in Beach Springs Intermediate School in South Carolina, the Bob Jones Patriots finished the day at 2-4-1. The Patriots lost two key players to injury and lost three games on the last plays of the game.
